The Broadway pledged to their shoppers that they would pursue more sustainable options and invited them to join them in this commitment. This is an issue that is constantly at the forefront of people’s minds leaving them questioning how we can do more. With a larger organisation pledging this, it led to a community talking about how they can also improve, and feeling part of a bigger movement. Pairing the ‘Pledge Wall’ with the giant recycling bin offered the solution to the comments that people had added to the wall.
Branded t-shirts, stickers and flyers were created to elevate the event and raise awareness for the project, as well as a face painter as another way of engaging younger visitors to the event.
