Held across multiple centres the goal was to attract new visitors to each centre as well as to provide shoppers with a unique experience that they would share across social media. The event was free for shoppers and capitalised on the show’s massive success to draw in large crowds.
GAME OF THRONES EVENT
RULE THE SEVEN KINGDOMS
Held during the run up to the new season, Shoppertainment worked with Sky to bring the Iron Throne to centres across the UK and give shoppers the chance to see if they had what it took to rule the Seven Kingdoms. Shoppers were offered the chance to sit in the throne and be transported into the Red Keep from the series via a green screen. Each shopper who took part had their photo taken and was then encouraged to share the snap across their social media.
The Game Of Thrones event allowed shoppers the chance to interact with both the Sky and Game of Thrones brand. Sky revealed that the tour as a whole saw 3,576 photos shared on Facebook and 438 on Twitter. The tour also achieved over 35,000 interactions.
