A vacant unit in a quiet part of the shopping centre was transformed into an honesty library, to create both a much-needed and useful service for the local community which in turned enhanced the shopping centre offer.
Following its opening, the honesty library has been embraced by the local community as various different groups have taken ownership for the space.
There have been regular book club meetings, the well-established ‘knit and knatter’ group and a number of local schools make use of the space.
