Shoppertainment is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for three Purple Apple Marketing Awards.

The Purple Apple Marketing Awards shortlists are in recognition of our work with a number of different Centres including the “12 Wins of Christmas” competition which we worked on with Stratford Shopping Centre, the “Burnley Summer Garden Party” for Charter Walk and the “Bonkers Balloons” event that we organised for Queensmere Observatory.

12 Wins Of Christmas: To help Stratford shoppers celebrate the festive period we created the “12 Wins of Christmas” digital competition. We designed and installed a bespoke, interactive digital advent calendar on a giant screen in one of the busiest parts of the Centre and worked with the scheme’s retailers to treat shoppers to a new prize each day. Burnley Summer Garden Party: To bring an unforgettable summer experience to Burnley we worked with Charter Walk Shopping Centre, Burnley Town Centre Management and Burnley Markets to create an engaging and exciting two-day event. The event featured a series of free and fun activities such as the Budding Burnley workshops, which saw the creation of a number of community allotments within previously empty space of the Centre. The Summer Garden Party brought something unique and never before seen in the town and is due to be repeated for years to come. Click here to find out more.

Bonkers Balloons: Inspired by the US phenomena of balloon wearable competitions and pageants and the unicorn balloon body puppet that took America’s Got Talent by storm, we worked with Queensmere Observatory to host the UK’s first ever wearable balloon parade in a Shopping Centre. The event was part of a series of Instagram-able, wow and bonkers events designed to surprise and delight shoppers. Read more about the event
