The Wheatsheaf Centre, Rochdale, asked our digital team to help them increase database numbers and members. They partnered up with the events team and came up with an ‘Eat and Greet’ event to allow children to have a fairy tale experience with their favourite Frozen characters Anna and Elsa.
Over the course of 3 weekends, the centre welcomed a different character and the digital team ran a campaign on Facebook and Twitter to give away a VIP meal. To enter shoppers were asked to fill in a simple entry form asking for their contact information. The Wheatsheaf’s database grew by 33%.
